Anne Neely – Violin:
A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Ms. Neely has been playing the violin since the of age 10, having performed in Carnegie Hall, even receiving the Andrew Carnegie Medal while still in high school. Anne received her B.S. in Music Education at Edinboro University, where she was the Concert Mistress of the University’s symphony orchestra. She’s lived in North Carolina for the past 15 years and has taught strings in local private schools and performs at weddings, local and private events. Anne founded the string quartet “The Four Bows,” and along with the quartet’s engagements at local events, in 2007 – 2008, they traveled to Washington D.C. to perform at the White House for its holiday events. Currently Anne is the Concert Mistress of The Lake Norman Orchestra, and such, has traveled with orchestra members on concert tours to Europe and to Washington D.C. Anne teaches private violin and piano lessons from her home studio in Mooresville.
