2020 EUROPEAN TOUR SENDOFF PERFORMANCE

Conducted by Maestro Eduardo Cedeño, the Orchestra will be performing a special sendoff concert, accompanied by the Mooresville High School Choir, conducted by Melanie Kalkan at the new Mooresville Performing Arts Center.  Come and enjoy a program of beautiful music and wish the Orchestra luck as they set off on their June European tour!

The Lake Norman Orchestra will represent Mooresville and the Lake Norman Region as a part of the 250th Anniversary Celebration of Ludwig van Beethoven during a tour through the Czech Republic, Poland and Austria this summer.

All are welcome – the concert is FREE to the public.  However, donations will be welcomed to help with trip costs for musicians who will be participating.

The Mooresville Graded School District Performing Arts Center (MPAC) opened in the winter of 2018. This state-of-the-art facility has a seating capacity of 1387, with an additional 308 seats in two lecture halls in the rear of the auditorium, that can be expanded to a total of  up to 1695 seats.
