We are excited to participate in a celebration at the First Presbyterian Church.  Please join us in this event as the Lake Norman Orchestra performs.  All are welcome and admission is free for this community event.

The Lake Norman Orchestra is proud to collaborate with the First Presbyterian Church  choir for this event with a family-friendly, benefit concert supporting something we have a heart for – supporting those who have been affected by recent natural disasters.

You’ll hear selections from Bach, Holst, Verdi and Schubert.  We can’t get you to the moon, but we can entertain you with Mars and Jupiter!   The party really gets started with West Side Story in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Leonard Bernstein.  Other musical selections  will be sure to surprise and delight as will a special duet by Luke Stikeleather and Harrison Deaton.

Harrison Deaton, Violinist

Luke Stikeleather, Violinist

You’ll enjoy the Sanctuary Choir and Organist Dreama Lovitt will perform on First Presbyterian’s recently refurbished Casavant organ. Lovitt lives in Winston-Salem and serves as the organist and music associate of West Market Street United Methodist Church in Greensboro. She holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Richmond in Virginia and a Master of Music in Organ Performance and Literature from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. A composer, Lovitt enjoys creating new pieces for choir, handbells, and organ, and has continued her studies under internationally renowned instructors and academies.

Donations received will benefit U.S.  Territories devastated by recent hurricanes to help provide help and hope this Springtime season.
